Our summer league is played from June through end of August each year. Ideal for visiting players as it is out of season for most of you, causing no conflicts with your current team! Whether you currently play on the Front Range in Colorado, New York or anywhere in the world, Breckenridge is the perfect place to play good rugby, get fit and make new friends.

Gentlemen of the Blue Goose Rugby Club, Breckenridge, Colorado

Welcome to the Gentlemen of Blue Goose Rugby Club based at the heart of the Rocky Mountains in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. The Blue Goose have been playing as the highest rugby club in the USA (and most probably the world!) at 9600ft above sea level since it was founded in December of 1974.

Men's Mountain Division Rugby

Saturday 7th February-35th Annual St. Valentine's Day Massacre Tournament. The Gentlemen of the Blue Goose RFC invite Men's, Women's, and College teams to play great rugby in the historical town of Breckenridge. All games will be played on Saturday followed by an after party at Jake's Dive Bar. This is a great opportunity to come play rugby and enjoy the ski slopes. Ski passes and ski equipment will be discounted to all rugby players. Don't miss out on this traditional event.

Social Happenings

Sunday April 20th - New King of the Mountain - Congrats to Andy Bean who is the new King of the mountain after beating Pete and Zack in the final sprint to the Gold Pan on the final day of the season at Breckenridge! Running in snowboard boots gave him the decisive advantage over ski boot running.

Season Review - The Blue Goose finished the season with a 9-9 record. Highlights of the season include beating all mountain teams, 2nd place finish in Ski town tournament and 3rd place in Cow Pie.

Commitment - Thanks to all the out of state college players who made the commitment to the Blue Goose this season as well as all the Denver area players. Your dedication to the Goose made for a fun and successful season.

Training Schedule Off Season Training - Come play racquetball every Thursday night at the the Breckenridge Rec Center. Afterward we will be going to Fatty's for food and refreshments. If you are interested in playing contact Pete at 970-376-3831
