Our summer league is played from June through end of August each year. Ideal for visiting players as it is out of season for most of you, causing no conflicts with your current team! Whether you currently play on the Front Range in Colorado, New York or anywhere in the world, Breckenridge is the perfect place to play good rugby, get fit and make new friends.

Gentlemen of the Blue Goose Rugby Club, Breckenridge, Colorado

Welcome to the Gentlemen of Blue Goose Rugby Club based at the heart of the Rocky Mountains in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. The Blue Goose have been playing as the highest rugby club in the USA (and most probably the world!) at 9600ft above sea level since it was founded in December of 1974.

Men's Mountain Division Rugby

Saturday 30th August - the Blue Goose will be hosting the Mountain 10's tournament this coming saturday. The standard of rugby will be high for the fast following game of 10's rugby with strong teams coming over from, Glendale Raptors, Denver Highlanders, Steamboat Springs and Crested Butte to do battle with the Blue Goose. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 09:30 at Kingdom Park and should be complete around 5pm. All supporters are welcome and refreshments and food will be available.

Events

Mountain 10's - Kingdom Cup - Now a 10's tournament! The Blue Goose will again be hosting this event in Breckenridge on Labor day weekend on the 30/31st August 2008. All teams are welcome, cost $250 a team, huge after party and Sunday Funday with Mtn Biking, Fishing, Boating, Hiking to help you enjoy all Breck has to offer

Sunday April 20th - New King of the Mountain - Congrats to Andy Bean who is the new King of the mountain after beating Pete and Zack in the final sprint to the Gold Pan on the final day of the season at Breckenridge! Running in snowboard boots gave him the decisive advantage over ski boot running.

Casino Night - Wed 2nd July @ Fatty's - Come along and be a big roller for the night with all the fun of being in Las Vegas without the cost. $20 gets you $2000 in chips to spend at roulette, craps, blackjack and Texas Holdem Poker. Biggest chip count at the end of the night will get as cash prize as will 2nd and 3rd!
